For whatever reason Tom Adelsbach thought it’d be a good idea to joke about suicide by making a video of Dana Loesch shooting herself. We’re not exactly sure what started the argument, but it appeared to be over a NRA video she made. Dana Loesch took this as a threat and contacted the FBI to request assistance. You can see the actual video to the right.

It appears that Tom then made a bunch of smartass tweets back and forth, it seems that he was trying to be a troll so we figured we’d show him how it was done.
On Tom’s twitter page he mentions his website tomadelsbach.com. We thought nobody would be dumb enough to try to pull a stunt like that without privately registering his domain, but apparently we were wrong. A whois on Tom’s Domain revealed his name, address, a company named Chicagoland Geothermal, and an interesting phone number.
When we realized this, we went straight for the jugular of the mighty troll. His place of employment.
Tom’s domain is registered with the company name Chicagoland Geothermal. We instantly located their Facebook Page and their Company Website. Oddly enough, Tom Adelsbach uses the same phone number that Chicagoland Geothermal uses on their website. We instantly posted a message on their facebook page and called them and told them we were going to expose them, and called Tom a piece of crap. They banned us off their facebook page. Our objective was to get them to make a public statement, which they did at 12:43PM EST 9/28/2015
We would like to address an extreme misunderstanding that has recently occurred. To start, Chicagoland Geothermal is NOT affiliated with “Tom Scott Adelsbach.” To clarify, the owner of Chicagoland Geothermal is “Scott Anthony Adelsbach.” Over the last few hours, Chicagoland Geothermal has received several disturbing threats on this Facebook page and via phone calls and emails regarding a recent video created by “Tom Scott Adelsbach.” “Scott Anthony Adelsbach” is Tom’s brother. However, please understand that the two have been estranged since June 2014. All personal and professional relationships no longer exist. The misdirected threats at Chicagoland Geothermal have arisen because Tom formerly did the design work for the company’s website and Facebook page. As a result, the website has remained tied to his name. It has also been brought to our attention this morning that we have inadvertently been tied to one of his domain names when he was acquiring domain names for us as a subcontractor. That will be terminated today. Make this clear: Chicagoland Geothermal does NOT support or condone any of Tom Adelsbach’s actions. We appreciate your understanding.
Are they telling the truth?
The simple answer is “If everyone followed the law, NO“. Icann policy requires that when you register a domain you provide accurate and current contact information. Chicagoland Geothermal stated that Tom was the owners brother, and that there was no association since 2014 however Tom’s domain was renewed with their name and phone number around March 2nd 2015. This means either they are not telling the truth, or Tom Adelsbach is intentionally using invalid contact information to renew his domains. The punishment for this is a permanent suspension, and a loss of his domain.
