Police arrested a Hanover man after surveillance video recorded him burning a Confederate flag that was mounted on a parked vehicle. Footage shows Becker clearly setting fire to the flag Friday morning outside of a convenience store on the 100 block of Carlisle St.
Mathew M. Becker, 48, of Hanover PA is facing arson-related offenses, criminal mischief, and disorderly conduct charges. Police used the footage to identify Becker and made the arrest on Wednesday (7/22/2015). No injuries were reported but police say the fire caused minor damages to the vehicle.
i was not born in the south,i was raised in the south and southwest,i have traveled all over,i have met quite a few fine people in my travels from all over the world,what is happening now in the USA is somewhat quite scary,as i do not know just how i would react,if i ever see anyone burning any flag,or disrespecting any military man or women.but it is all very wrong,although some animals do not see it that way.God help us all.
