Nocturnus Libertus Launches Campaign to Defecate on US Flag

Sierra McGrone, aka Nocturnus Libertus, recently launched a Facebook Campaign to defecate on an American flag for each contribution of $6.00.   She received massive backlash instantly.   Within 2 hours the post was shared thousands of times.    Patriots of all races, ages, and walks of life expressed their outrage on her page.  However, In order to tell the story we must first go back to when Nocturnus Libertus was running the Eric Sheppard Challenge, a fact not too many people were aware of.

The story of Nocturnus Libertus doesn’t start on July 10th 2015 when she started a Sh*t on the American flag campaign, it starts in April 2015 when she started the #ericsheppardchallenge movement. In April 2015 Michelle Manhardt was arrested for defending an American flag from Valdosta Students, including Eric Sheppard. A week later he stepped on the flag during a protest. Police found a loaded gun in his backpack and issued a warrant for his arrest. Sheppard ran from the law and wasn’t arrested until late May. Nocturnus Libertus ran the Eric Sheppard Challenge movement the entire time.

Erica Walker, a close friend of Nocturnus Libertus, was the first woman to gain national attention for stepping on an America flag. She did this several times in the following week, one time in front of active Soldiers while laughing. The video to the right shows the first 3 videos she made, they went viral and gained significant media attention.

Erica Walker forgot to renew her domain while desecrating a flag, we legally purchased her website, and started this website in place of her old site.  We turned the home page into a massive tribute to the US Military.

This will eventually become the most effective counter to Flag desecration to date. It was this registry which made Nocturnus Libertus target this website, the owners, and their families countless times.  She wanted it shut down because of how it was impacting the #ericsheppardchallenge.  Posts of flag desecration moved from Facebook To Instagram.   Libertus encourages her follows to hide their faces and identities.   After following them there their movement eventually dwindled to a new incident once or twice a week.

When people desecrated an American flag in any way shape or form we’d post their name publicly in a directory maintained on this website. Most #ericsheppardchallenge supporters would hide behind aliases. We’d find their real name and post it publicly along with all the pictures or videos of their disgraceful actions. This enraged many people, especially Nocturnus Libertus….

While we began listing flag desecrators one by one in the permanent online registry Nocturnus Libertus began attacking this website, our families, and even minors of parents that opposed her. Nocturnus Libertus first tried DDOS attacking this website. When that didn’t work she began terrorizing the site owners’ parents whom are in their 70’s. Not only did she leave harassing messages on the answering machine, but she also posted the phone number among her friends so that several people would call them, even at 2am in the morning.

When that also failed she claims to of have hacked law enforcement to get the arrest records of the website owner. She then photoshopped them and made summary / traffic offenses seem serious, and posted publicly that the owners of this website had a history of committing crimes against “people of color”. When we still didn’t back down she eventually purchased ericsheppard.us, and dedicated the entire website to putting a target on this website owners head. You can still view it in its entirety as of 2:15AM EST @ ericsheppard.us.  If we were to keep track of all the threats we would have lost count around 100.

A conversation I never thought I’d ever have in my life occurred when I told website admins, friends, and family that standing up for the American flag any further would endanger our lives and the lives of our family. We weren’t getting any support from the media, a Glenn Beck screener actually laughed at us and hung up. Several people online were getting harassed at their jobs, some even had their children whom were minors targeted.

Our families responded by investing in the second amendment, we responded by fighting back. We released the video displayed to the right on May 18th 2015 revealing Nocturnus Libertus’s Identity as well as a list of crimes she committed with evidence.

Over the next month things did not go well for Nocturnus Libertus. The #ericsheppardchallenge lost all momentum, the support fund barely raised 25% of its goal. Rare incidents surfaced in places like Mckinney Texas, the media referred to it as #blacklivematters completely dismissing the #ericsheppardchallenge.

Nocturnus Libertus attempted to take her failures out on the owner of this website. She pinned home addresses and contact information for nearly a month on the #ericsheppardsupport facebook page. Libertus made several pages on her ericsheppard.us site trying to incite violence against the owner of this website.

On July 5th, A Facebook user that went by Furqan Stout uploaded a picture of him Defecating on an American flag on July 4th.   We published An article about this and were instantly threatened by Nocturnus Libertus. This is what started the entire incident.

We reposted our story with a special message to Libertus in response to her threats, no different from any other time she has done this.

An incited Nocturnus Libertus attacks a 16-year-old girl and calls her a terrorist for shooting a gun. The mother Jessica Dieter was livid about this and gave Libertus an hour to remove the photo. When Libertus refused, a back and forth occurred between Libertus and two facebook pages called The Anti Eric Sheppard Challenge and the f*ck Erica Walker page. Members were angry about Libertus attacking another minor. These were the two pages we worked with others on to combat the #ericsheppardchallenge and Nocturnus Libertus. Our main facebook page is Illwrite it Team, however do not do much through facebook due to issues in the past.

Nocturnus Libertus starts the Sh*t on America challenge to incite members the groups.   The groups went back and forth with Libertus for targeting a minor and calling her a terrorist.  The Sh*t on America challenge was a response to this, to show the patriotic people who had gone back and forth with her that she didn’t care.   She had grown very bold due to multiple failed attempts to prosecute her.   People reported her countless times, nothing was ever done.

The post eventually went viral.  It received 2,000 shares after vets found the post.  People began searching for Nocturnus Libertus on the internet and instantly found the failsafe page we created in May 2015.   It contained a list of all the terrible things Nocturnus Libertus did to people.  If she ever went over the line people would find it.   They did.   It was our hope that if enough people found out they would fight back, and they did.   The page received 20,000 views in the first couple of hours after the post.  It will hit 100,000 today.

The backlash for this challenge was fast and furious.   Tens of thousands of people reacted to Libertus.  Some voiced their opinions while other people attacked her.  Libertus incited it even further by posting pictures of people burning an American flag to incite the crowd.  People became enraged, multiple people began showering her wall with pictures of the American flag.   There were also explicit pictures shared that we cannot share here publicly.   A battle between Patriots and Libertus raged on for several hours until Libertus lost in the early morning of July 11th. Noctunus Libertus’s main facebook profile was down by 5am EST 7/11/2015.

After several hours of people complaining facebook finally removed Nocturnus Libertus’s profile.   A day later her crowd funding campaign was suspended.  The untouchable woman who desecrated countless flags, attacked minors, made several threats, and terrorized people who opposed her was removed from facebook in a matter of hours. When America stands together for a common cause, anything is possible. It wasn’t just America though, people from all over the world were voicing their disgust for this. People from all around the world united against this disgraceful act. Will it stay down? Only time will tell.

I’ll admit, I enjoyed watching everyone rise up to fight against Libertus.  The woman who harassed our families, threatened our lives, and harassed our children was getting everything she gave to everyone else tenfold.  The reaction in general showed me that America finally woke up on this issue and fought back. Thank you for showing us that patriotism and pride in America is still alive and well.

There are several people I wish would have got the chance to witness this moment.   Libertus negatively altered the lives of several people whom she targeted over the past 3 years.  People who had families to support lost their jobs, people had to change their location due to threats, and so much more.  They never got to this moment, they were the casualties of the online campaign against libertus.

This fight is far from over.   Throughout the past 2 months there have been several people who said “ignore it, it’ll go away”.   Since then it has surfaced in Mckinney Texas, Charleston SC, Denver Colorado, and New York NY. During the July 4th weekend alone, you had one person steal a flag and burn it and another Defecating on a flag.  There are screenshots out there showing that Nocturnus Libertus was banned from movements 2 years ago for being too extreme.  It’s been ignored, and it’s only getting worse. It has gotten to the point where they are starting “Sh*T on America” challenges.

Enough is enough. So many men and women have died for that flag, we civilians should make sure their sacrifice is respected at home. We don’t know about everyone else, but we’re going to continue to push back against Libertus. If the men and women of the military are willing to die for our freedom, we should be willing to risk whatever it takes to respect their sacrifice.  She still has a Twitter account, she’ll retaliate against us, she’ll start her movement again. People have ignored her for the past 2 years, she has come back every time.  Since when has ignoring extremism ever caused it to go away?

The story we’ve told on this page is a mere fraction of what has happened in the past 2 months. We’ll write the rest someday, for now if you want to follow what we do you can register on the site. As for Us we’re going to focus on keeping the website up. People eventually loose interest in stories like this, they already are. When we ran the article on Erica Walker stepping on an American Flag In Front of Active Soldiers 220,000 views a day quickly dwindled to 150 views a day. The 50,000 per day we’re getting on the Nocturnus Libertus Rap Sheet Article will eventually fade to the hundreds as well. The extremism will resurface, Libertus is still on Twitter and a support group has already resurfaced on facebook. The enemy might be wounded but they’ll be back.

Our Goals

We have goals for this site. We already designed a very nice way to read the news we write (register to see). We were in the process of designing a non obtrusive advertisement system to support the operating costs. We’d like to organize some form of an online interactive live radio show or something similar once a week that focuses on keeping people interested and entertained while discussing important topics. Our rights as citizens have to be protected daily, more so now than ever. If we all fall asleep we might just wake up with none someday.
