ISIS’s greatest ally could be facebook’s biased community standards staff. Recently facebook took out an anonymous page that was exposing members of ISIS. Anonymous released a video about it and then shortly thereafter facebook reversed the ban and reinstated the account. However the video was viral, when unbanned, it lost that.
The anonymous account in question was responsible for exposing thousands, yes I said that correctly, thousands of isis recruitment social media accounts. Facebook had to do something, so they banned the page:
What makes facebook so great that we allow them to get away with helping terrorists, not doing enough about child pornography, and censoring just about everyone’s opinion who someone in their “Community Standards” department disagrees with.
We all talk a big game about free speech and our constitutional rights, but every day we hear about another person getting banned off of facebook for a reason as ridiculous as insulting the president or talking about the constitution. Now facebook’s negligence even assists terrorists.
Say that this anonymous account exposed a terrorist plot, and it somehow lead to identify the attack before it happened. If that were true and facebook banned their account, people would of died due to facebook’s negligence. I wonder when people are going to start holding facebook accountable for their ridiculous censorship. Zuckerberg was already caught on mic talking about censoring negative opinions about the European Immigration crisis…
