Sometime in the afternoon on June 13th 2015 the Eric Sheppard Support fund was suspended from IndieGogo.  You can see the person who runs it posting “It is temporarily down” on twitter to the right. They had raised $4,795 from 156 people in 1 month and had 10 days to go when the campaign suddenly vanished off the internet.
The person running both the Indiegogo and Eric Sheppard facebook page wastes no time promoting her own campaign on both pages which is used to purchase firearms, go on a multi city vacation, and possibly daily living expenses.
What Happened?
Why was a high profile crowd funding campaign suddenly suspended after it made $4795 with just 10 days to go?  Could it be because numerous people voiced their concerns over what the money was being used for?  Eric Sheppard had an attorney as of May 1st 2015 and he is still being held without bail. Sierra McGrone (Nocturnus Libertus) wastes no time promoting her own campaign even on the notice of the support fund suspension. If I donated to this campaign, I’d certainly wondering where my money was going!
Was this influenced by the I'll Write it Team?
We noticed around the same time that the person leading the Eric Sheppard Challenge began posting our address while claiming we are terrorists and that we run the KKK. She also accuses us of harassing Muslims, activists, and other people while making Islamaphobic comments on her Twitter page. Notice every time she claims something, there is never any proof. That should tell you something!
I would also like to mention that before the page was taken down she had uploaded several pictures of people stepping on the flag in the gallery. This might have been what prompted Indiegogo to do something about it.
It is back up again. It should be reported.
