When the Charleston SC shooting occurred, I posted on my facebook before the suspect was caught predicting that there would be signs that this was going to happen that would be ignored.  Today that prediction came true more than ever.
“I wasn’t surprised, we always knew the kid was messed up and we knew he was going to do something like that but we never thought he’d actually do it like that” – Dylann Roof’s friend
Confession is around 2 minutes 20 seconds.
Why didn't you say something?
I can’t help but wonder, why didn’t this unidentified man say something to authorities.  It doesn’t sound like any of these friends were that vocal about Dylann’s issues, whatever they may be, as his father purchased a gun for him earlier this year.  This was the same gun that Dylann shot 9 African American Christians with.
This is a moral obligation all Americans should have
Regardless of what your race is, or who your friends are, if you have serious reason to believe that someone you know is going to “do something like this” then have the common sense to go tell the appropriate authorities.  This person, whomever it is, had the chance to stop this shooting before it happened.  Instead he chose willful ignorance, which is partially responsible for 9 African American Christians losing their lives in my opinion.
We have a voice to speak, and there are far too many of us that don’t speak up when we should.  This man is definitely one of these people.
