MANITOU SPRINGS, Colorado: Patricia Cameron recently organized a #blacklivesmatter protest. During the protest Cameron doused the confederate flag with lighter fluid and set it on fire over a grill. A small crowd gathered to watch the event. She was later charged with 4th degree arson. Police are still looking to arrest 2 others involved with the protest.
Cameron now claims she has had her life threatened and has been called the N-word on social media because of the flag-burning protests.
“People hoped I got shot and called me the N-word, I don’t respond to it – when there’s a violent response to something I’m doing peacefully, it proves my point.”
