Black Man Killed for Supporting Confederate Flag

Anthony Hervey, Author of “Why I Wave the Confederate Flag: Written by A Black Man”, was murdered when a car full of “4 or 5 black men” ran him off the road after yelling angrily at Hervey and his passenger. Anthony Hervey died from his injuries, his passenger Arlene Barnum was taken to the hospital for her injuries.

“A passenger in the vehicle told authorities the vehicle was run off the road by a silver vehicle with five black males inside, according to a police statement released on Thursday.” – MSN

Black Lives Only Matter When They Fit The Agenda?

The #blacklivesmatter crowd has been silent on the issue. We gave them a week to write about this. An innocent 49-year-old male and a 60-year-old female, both African-American, killed over their support of a flag and their lives don’t matter enough to even mention their names. It’s not like it wasn’t on the front page of major newspaper websites.

Sure Hervey had a record, he was arrested for several free speech related incidents and student loan fraud. It’s no different from some of the records people had that the black live crowd rallied behind. The only thing different here is race, so why no mentions? Why don’t all #blacklivesmatter?

Anthony Hervey Was Murdered because of his support of a flag, by members of the same race

“Reportedly, Hervey was driving and feared they were being chased. Hervey told Barnham he noticed a silver car speeding to catch up to them, and then it swerved into their passenger side.

Barnham told the News-Capital even when Hervey sped up to get away, the car continued to pursue them. At some point, that’s what she said caused the crash.” – The Clarion Ledger

They were on their way back from a pro confederate flag rally in Birmingham, Alabama. Their only crime was sticking up for what they believed to be their heritage.

Hervey was a piece of Oxford history

Some Local Websites called Hervey a “piece of Oxford history”. He was known to push the boundaries of free speech to support the confederate flag. He was even charged with assault after an altercation with a student journalist. None of this justifies running him off the road and killing him because he is standing up for his heritage.

Now the last words ever spoken about him while he was still alive will forever be:

When Do #BlackLivesMatter?

They don’t seem to matter when their cause doesn’t support the agenda. You have a clear case of an extremely suspicious accident where foul play is definitely involved. The crime was undoubtedly committed against one because of their beliefs. No massive media outcry, no protests, no riots, no calls for investigation. Why doesn’t this #blacklivematter?
